DOMAINE DE LOCGUÉNOLÉ offers services including accommodation, dining, spa treatments, and seminar room rentals at its eponymous hotel located in KERVIGNAC.
ARTICLE 2. PURPOSE
These General Terms and Conditions of Service (hereinafter the "GTC") apply, without limitation or reservation, to all service provisions, reserved by telephone and concluded prior to payment via a link generated by the Stripe application, offered by DOMAINE DE LOCGUÉNOLÉ (hereinafter the "Services") to its professional or consumer clients (hereinafter the "Client(s)").
Certain provisions of these GTC may vary depending on whether the Client is a professional or a consumer.
The GTC specify, in particular, the terms of order placement, payment, and performance of the Services ordered by the Clients, as well as the obligations of the parties in the context of providing the Services.
These GTC apply to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions. They are communicated to the Client prior to any reservation by email and shall prevail, where applicable, over any other version or contradictory document.
Any other conditions issued by the Client, provided they are not inconsistent with these GTC, shall only be valid if expressly agreed to by DOMAINE DE LOCGUÉNOLÉ in advance and in writing.
Failure to exercise, at any given time, a right provided under these GTC, or to require the performance of any provision, shall in no way be interpreted as a modification of the contract, nor as an express or implied waiver of the right to exercise said right in the future or to demand strict compliance with the obligations set out herein.
ARTICLE 3. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES – RESERVATION
DOMAINE DE LOCGUÉNOLÉ offers various Services, including the booking of hotel rooms and suites, as well as additional services.
Details of the Services can be found on the website domaine-locguenole.com (the "Site") and are, in any case, provided by email prior to reservation and in the confirmation email.
3.1 Accommodation Services
The essential characteristics of the offered Services, availability dates, prices, options, payment terms, as well as specific conditions regarding cancellation policies, check-in times, Wi-Fi access, pet policy (allowed on a leash, excluding access to the restaurant, spa, and seminar rooms), etc., are communicated to the Client before any reservation.
Room details are also available on the Site.
Rooms and suites available for reservation are presented by category, with descriptions outlining essential characteristics as per Article L. 111-1 of the French Consumer Code. Photographs displayed on the Site accurately reflect the level of amenities and facilities in each room category. However, the room allocated to the Client may differ slightly from the illustrative photos.
3.2 Additional or Independent Services
DOMAINE DE LOCGUÉNOLÉ also offers additional or independent Services, including breakfast, dining at the L’INATTENDU and LA MAISON ALYETTE restaurants, wine tasting services, spa treatments, packaged offers, seminar room bookings, and day-long study sessions.
The hotel also provides yoga classes, concierge service, babysitting service upon request, and free indoor parking for any reservation of a room, table at the restaurant, or spa treatment.
These services (yoga, concierge, babysitting, parking) must be booked at the hotel reception and may be charged in addition to the accommodation fee, at the rate applicable on the booking date.
3.3 Spa
DOMAINE DE LOCGUÉNOLÉ also offers a complete range of facial and body treatments in partnership with brands such as SOTHYS, KOS, NOUGATINE, and OPI, or other possible partners. The identity of the partner brands may change.

This description outlines the essential characteristics in accordance with Article L. 111-1 of the French Consumer Code.
Photographs on the Site reflect the equipment and amenities in each treatment cabin, but the actual cabin provided may differ slightly from the one shown online.
3.4 Gift Boxes and Gift Vouchers
DOMAINE DE LOCGUÉNOLÉ also offers custom gift boxes and gift vouchers that may be redeemed at the hotel, restaurant, or spa.
Each gift voucher is described on the Site and outlines the essential characteristics as required by Article L. 111-1 of the French Consumer Code.
The photographs on the Site are not contractual.
The service description is provided to the Client prior to booking.
Gift vouchers are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. If the validity period is exceeded, no refund will be issued—except in exceptional cases (such as a health crisis or closure)—in which case the validity may be extended or the voucher refunded with the Client's agreement.
Furthermore, DOMAINE DE LOCGUÉNOLÉ does not guarantee the availability of Services on the specific dates and times desired by the Client, especially if the reservation is made near the voucher's expiration date. Clients are strongly advised to book in advance before the voucher expires.

3.5 Seminar and Banquet Rooms
The company DOMAINE DE LOCGUÉNOLÉ provides 2 seminar and reception rooms, the characteristics of which are detailed on the webpage https://www.domaine-locguenole.com/seminaires-evenements-salle-de-reception-morbihan/professionnels-seminaire-bretagne/ and via email, particularly when a quote is being established.
Bookings for seminar and banquet rooms are made exclusively through the Backyou platform.
The Client may request additional information from DOMAINE DE LOCGUÉNOLÉ at any time during the booking process.
A quote is sent to the Client before any reservation is finalized.
The seminar and reception rooms are available during the time slots agreed upon in the quote.
Any overrun beyond the agreed schedule may result in additional charges based on the delay.
ARTICLE 4. ACCOMMODATION CHARACTERISTICS AND CHECK-IN, ADDITIONAL SERVICES
Rooms and suites are available from 4:00 PM and must be vacated no later than 12:00 PM on the day of departure.
The hotel, rooms, and suites are entirely non-smoking, and the Guest agrees to respect this policy. Failure to do so may result in DOMAINE DE LOCGUÉNOLÉ charging a cleaning fee, in addition to a penalty of €150 per day.
Dogs under 12 kg are allowed on the premises, provided they are kept on a leash. However, they are not permitted in meeting rooms, restaurants, or the spa.
Unless otherwise agreed with DOMAINE DE LOCGUÉNOLÉ, children aged 6 and under are not permitted to receive massage treatments at the Spa. However, access to the swimming pool and jacuzzi is allowed only if accompanied and supervised by an adult. DOMAINE DE LOCGUÉNOLÉ may deny access to the jacuzzi and sauna to pregnant women. Moreover, massage services are not available before the third month of pregnancy.
ARTICLE 5. BOOKING PROCESS
Reservations are initially made by phone and are confirmed and paid via the Namastay booking system.
The reservation process includes the following steps:
Step 1: The Guest contacts DOMAINE DE LOCGUÉNOLÉ by phone or directly books one or more services online. The Guest provides the receptionist or sales staff with their requirements, or selects them online, including desired dates, length of stay, room category, breakfast, etc.
Step 2: DOMAINE DE LOCGUÉNOLÉ processes the reservation and sends the Guest an email summarizing the specific booking conditions, the general terms and conditions, and a payment link generated by Namastay.
Step 3: The Guest may check the reservation details and request modifications by replying to the email or calling the hotel, after which a new reservation summary will be issued.
Prior to validating the reservation, the Guest receives a link to the General Terms and Conditions; any payment made through the Namastay link constitutes acceptance of these terms.
Step 4: The Guest completes the payment by entering their banking information on the Namastay platform.
The contract is considered concluded upon receipt of the reservation confirmation email sent by DOMAINE DE LOCGUÉNOLÉ.
All information in this confirmation email is deemed to represent the agreement between the Guest and DOMAINE DE LOCGUÉNOLÉ.
If the Guest does not receive a reservation confirmation, they must contact DOMAINE DE LOCGUÉNOLÉ.
ARTICLE 6. PRICING AND PAYMENT
Prices for the services are indicated before, during, and after the booking.
For accommodation services, prices are net per room, based on the number of guests and selected dates.
At the time of booking confirmation, the total price is displayed in euros including VAT and is valid only for the duration specified on the website.
Unless otherwise stated, optional services (e.g., breakfast, half-board, full-board, etc.) not selected at the time of booking are not included in the price.
The tourist tax, shown during the booking process, must be paid on-site to DOMAINE DE LOCGUÉNOLÉ.
Prices do not include personal or incidental expenses such as spa liability insurance, laundry, phone charges, beverages, room service, tips, or any other service not expressly included in the booking confirmation.
Prices include VAT at the rate in effect at the time of booking. Any change in VAT rate will automatically affect the final price.
Any new legal or regulatory taxes imposed by authorities will be added to the final invoice price.
Certain promotional offers are available only on the website and cannot be booked at the hotel reception.
ARTICLE 7. PAYMENT TERMS
The Guest provides their credit or charge card details (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, etc.) as a guarantee during booking via a secure SSL-encrypted form, entering the card number, expiration date (valid for the stay), and CVV.
Payment for the booked services may be made:
At the time of booking for non-cancellable / non-changeable / non-refundable offers;
On-site at DOMAINE DE LOCGUÉNOLÉ on the day of the stay in all other cases and for additional services not prepaid.
An identity document may be requested to prevent credit card fraud.
In the case of card payment, the amount is charged once the payment is validated. The commitment to pay by card is irrevocable.
Two weeks before arrival, DOMAINE DE LOCGUÉNOLÉ may authorize a pre-charge on the card to guarantee payment for services reserved under the best price offers. For flexible offers, only a card imprint is taken without charging.
By providing card details, the Guest authorizes DOMAINE DE LOCGUÉNOLÉ to charge the total amount for prepaid offers.
The Guest guarantees that they are fully authorized to use the provided payment method and that sufficient funds are available.
The card may be declined in case of theft, blocked status, or exceeded limit. In this case, the Guest must resolve the issue with their bank and DOMAINE DE LOCGUÉNOLÉ.
In the event of a no-show without cancellation under the applicable conditions, the full price of the services will be charged according to the chosen cancellation policy.
For professional clients, any late payment will incur penalties equal to three times the legal interest rate plus 10 points, with a minimum charge of €100. The hotel may also charge a flat-rate compensation of €40 for administrative and collection costs.
ARTICLE 8. CANCELLATIONS AND MODIFICATIONS BY THE GUEST
8.1 Cancellation of Accommodation Services Only
Pursuant to Article L. 221-28 of the Consumer Code, accommodation services provided on a specified date or period are excluded from the right of withdrawal.
Therefore, accommodation services ordered via the website are subject only to the cancellation and modification conditions shown on the website.
For bookings with a cancellation option, the Guest may cancel up to 48 hours before arrival, i.e., no later than 3:00 PM (Paris time) two days prior to the check-in date. In this case, no amount will be charged. For late cancellations or no-shows, the first night’s stay, including additional services, will be charged.
For flexible bookings, modifications are allowed in writing up to 48 hours before arrival, subject to applicable rate differences.
For non-refundable bookings, full payment is required at the time of booking and no refunds will be issued in case of cancellation. Payments are considered as non-refundable deposits under Articles 1590 of the Civil Code and L. 214-1 of the Consumer Code.
In case of no-show for the first and second night, the booking is fully cancelled, and the services will be made available again for sale.
8.2 Withdrawal Right for Spa Services, Gift Boxes, and Gift Cards
In accordance with Articles L221-1 et seq. of the Consumer Code, the Guest has 14 days to exercise their right of withdrawal without justification or penalty. If this period ends on a weekend or public holiday, it is extended to the next working day.
The Guest may exercise this right via the withdrawal form (reproduced below) or by sending a clear statement of their intent to withdraw via email (reservations@etangs-corot.com) or postal mail to Château De Locguénolé, KERVIGNAC (56700).
Following withdrawal, DOMAINE DE LOCGUÉNOLÉ will refund all amounts paid, including for gift boxes or cards, within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal notice.
For professionals, this clause does not apply.
ARTICLE 9. GUEST OBLIGATIONS AND LIABILITY
The Guest is solely responsible for selecting services that meet their needs. DOMAINE DE LOCGUÉNOLÉ cannot be held liable for any resulting mismatch.
The Guest agrees to pay for all confirmed services. Fraudulent, irregular, or incomplete payment may result in immediate cancellation.
The Guest agrees to comply with hotel rules, including dress code (especially when accessing the Spa and restaurant L’Inattendu) and respectful behavior towards staff and other guests.
Wi-Fi and IT resources must not be used for any unauthorized or illegal activity, including the sharing of copyrighted materials.
Smoking is prohibited in all hotel areas. Any behavior that disrupts operations or compromises safety may incur a €150 penalty.
In general, the Guest must maintain respectful conduct and avoid any behavior contrary to public order or the hotel’s internal regulations. Failure to do so may result in eviction without refund. All due payments must be settled before departure.
The Guest is solely responsible for their vehicle, valuables in the safe, and personal items in the Spa.
ARTICLE 10. HOTEL OBLIGATIONS AND LIABILITY
DOMAINE DE LOCGUÉNOLÉ commits to providing services in accordance with these terms and conditions, exercising due professional care.
It is only bound by a best-efforts obligation.
Photos and descriptions are intended to reflect services as accurately as possible, but variations may occur due to changes in décor or furnishings. These do not justify cancellation or compensation.
In case of force majeure or inability to provide the reserved accommodation, DOMAINE DE LOCGUÉNOLÉ may offer equivalent accommodation elsewhere, subject to Guest approval. Transfer costs will be covered, excluding additional compensation.
In no event shall DOMAINE DE LOCGUÉNOLÉ be liable for indirect damages such as loss of business, clientele, or reputation.
ARTICLE 11. PERSONAL DATA
To process bookings, billing, customer account management, and customer relations, DOMAINE DE LOCGUÉNOLÉ collects and processes personal data.
Some information is required and marked as mandatory on booking forms. These are confidential.

Guests have the right to access, rectify, delete, update, or restrict their personal data and to object for legitimate reasons. Requests must be signed, include ID, and be sent to DOMAINE DE LOCGUÉNOLÉ. A response will be provided within one month.
In case of difficulties, a complaint may be submitted to CNIL.

ARTICLE 12. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
These terms and all related contracts are governed by French law.
For professional clients, any disputes relating to the contract will be submitted to the competent courts in the jurisdiction of DOMAINE DE LOCGUÉNOLÉ’s registered office.
For consumers, these terms do not prevent the application of protective mandatory provisions of their country of residence.
In the absence of an amicable resolution after contacting DOMAINE DE LOCGUÉNOLÉ, and after 60 days without a response or with a negative response, the Guest may refer the matter to the Tourism and Travel Mediator at:
